Ziggy Health is an online pharmacy for the entire family. The platform, where you can: buy prescription and OTC products, have an online consultation with a doctor, and get your prescription signed. One-stop-shop.

You no longer need to go to the doctor, stand in line, wait in traffic on the way to the pharmacy, spending a lot of your precious time to buy medication.

What distinguishes Ziggy health, is that they provide not only ready branded pharmacy products, but also custom-formulated, and natural remedies. You can always start online consultation with a physician to chose which one fits your exact case.

Problem

The task was to make buying medicine online easy. When you or your loved ones are sick, the least you want to do is spend time buying medicines.

Problems we solved:
- people couldn't buy pharmacy products for the whole family in one place
- people cannot easily get a prescription and buy medications in one place and do it online.
- people have to use offline pharmacies, which is time-consuming as it also requires visiting your doctor or physician to sign the prescription.

The complication was that it required a totally new unique UX approach. There were no direct competitors or references to learn from. A solution like we needed didn't exist.

Solution

We designed strong and easy communication between user-pharmacy-doctor. Need a prescription? Our doctors, pharmacists, or herbalists will help you find the right solution.

Already have a prescription? Just send it to Ziggy and get your medications. Or just give us your pharmacy or prescriber contact information, and we will do the rest.

Home Page
Catalog

All products on the site are grouped according to the problems they solve (symptoms) or their type: standard medications, custom-formulated, and natural remedies.

Patients can navigate into the catalog through the types of products (pharmacy, custom formulations, and natural remedies) by selecting a symptom, and using the search. Depends on how and what they are looking for. And they can easily filter out what they need inside the catalog.

Cart

The card should be easy to access and fast to open - that's why we designed it as a pop-up window, not as a separate page.

Medications are added to the cart, regardless of whether they require prescriptions or not. Adding prescription and other information required happens at the Checkout stage.

Checkout

Adding prescription and child information for children's products happens at this stage.

There are three ways to add an existing prescription: send the prescription photo, provide doctor's or prescriber's contact information. If a patient needs a new prescription, they can start an online visit with our doctor and get it, which happens after the payment.

Questionnarie

To get a new prescription patient is required to start an online telemedicine visit. They go through a questionnaire and answer the health questions based on which, our doctor will approve or reject the request for a new prescription.

My Subscription

A product subscription may consist of one product or several products that are shipped on the same day with different frequency. The user can either stop the entire subscription or remove one product from it.

My Prescription

It's got the whole history of user prescriptions. And options to start a new visit with Ziggy doctor, refill or update the expired prescription.

Development Stack

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, Wordpress admin.

For external pages, we developed a custom WordPress theme. Wordpress was used only as an admin panel to save time and budget. The logic and all features were developed on custom PHP without using any pre-made plugins.
